11 He also gave apostles, prophets, missionaries, as well as pastors and teachers as gifts to his church. 12 Their purpose is to prepare God’s people to serve and to build up the body of Christ.  Ephesians 4:11,12

  • Barrett and Breana Dickson   (Youth and  Worship Minister)

Barrett came to Eastern Hills in August 2017 to work as both the Worship and Youth minister. He leads the youth group teaching and ministering to young people. He also serves the congregation as the Worship Minister.   He and Breana have been married for five years. Barrett and Breana both attended Lubbock Christian University. He also enjoys spending time with Breana and their dog Penny, going to the movies, eating and cooking barbecue. Barrett’s passion in ministry is teaching the Bible. It’s so cool watching teens get excited about the Bible and learning about all the amazing things in one amazing book!

  • Dale and Judy Arnett  (Chaplain and Prison Minister)

Dale began full time ministry in 1982 and started working with Eastern Hills in 1999. With Judy at his side, he worked for the Westlake Church in Indianapolis for eighteen years before moving to Texas. During that time he was chaplain at the Marion County Sheriff's Department. Dale also started prison ministries in Indiana, Kentucky, and Texas.

Along with his duties to Eastern Hills, Dale presently is a Certified Volunteer Chaplain at the Beto 1 Unit, conducts Family Days at the Beto and Hamilton units, and is the Chaplain at the Henderson County Jail.

"My favorite Bible story is Jonah. I can relate to Jonah being reluctant to do what God wanted him to do. He hated the people that God wanted him to preach to. But God changed his heart and he warned the people. God also changed my heart. I used to hate the very people I am preaching to now. The story of Jonah shows that you can run but you can’t hide and that God gives second chances."
