Billy is a local, born and raised right here in Athens, Texas! After living in Fort Worth for most of his adult life, God has brought him back to his roots to minister in his hometown. Billy is married to Shannon Gurley and they have four adult children. Billy’s call is to live on the edge of the reality of earth and heaven and extend an invitation into the presence of our Father God and the place of His kingdom.

Barrett and his wife, Breana, have been serving Eastern Hills Church for multiple years now. Barrett leads our worship every Sunday morning and leads our youth group in our weekly youth events.

I, along with my husband Philip, have attended Eastern Hills for 28 years. We have raised three children here in Athens during that time. My goal is for every child who walks through our doors to feel loved, included, and know the amazing life-changing grace of Jesus Christ. I also love the opportunity to walk alongside our young families as they navigate godly parenting in this challenging world.

Becky and I are excited to have spent over 30 years in ministry with our family at Eastern Hills. We believe Eastern Hills and Athens is a great place to connect with church and community. As parents of five adult children (two by marriage) and five grandchildren we realize the importance of Life Groups and lifelong relationships. We love the adventure of a Jesus filled life and would love to share the journey with you!
